Kalyan B. Chigurupati is currently the Managing Director and CEO of Tulasi Technologies (p) Ltd. He has 8+ years of experience in IT industry.

He originally comes from a Computer Science background and got his B.Tech degree from Nagarjuna University (India) and his masters from University of Sunderland (United Kingdom).

He worked for a company called Springboard (CSV) Sunderland for 4 years, where he was in charge of web development team and he was responsible for creating a web based personal learning plan.

After exiting from Springboard he set up a proprietary concern called Meganta Software in the year 2004 in his own backyard, to cater to the needs of Veterinary Science.

In the year 2006 August Tulasi Technologies was formed by merging Meganta software with three whole time directors. Kalyan B. Chigurupati, Chigurupati Rama Basaveswara Rao & B. K. Anil Kumar.

His core focus from day one is to develop products to cater Veterinary science. The architect behind 80% of the products is Mr. Kalyan B. Chigurupati. His passion and ability to conceptualise products coupled with his technical expertise to efficiently design and develop them has added enormous value to the company’s IP value by enabling it to develop varied range of products.

As can be seen from above during the eight years of active participation in the IT industry he has had extensive exposure to delivery of all development projects, onsite placements, pre-sales support, consideration of delivery between offshore and onsite, process and quality as well as handling financial, administration, sales, marketing and HR related services.

He has extensive knowledge in Veterinary Science and Agricultural domain as his family background is into farming since 1950 and into Veterinary Science since 1975.
